Dance To Life, LLC goal is to be a business that affords youth to senior adults the opportunity to learn and perfect their gift of dance. Continuing to foster inner city communities by providing them an outlet for positive expression through dance, as well as setting provisions for their health and wellness. Dance to Life, LLC further endeavors are to * be a safe haven for children, during after school hours, serving as an alternative to the school art programs that have vanished due to cutbacks in education. * desires to promote and display positive self-awareness and modesty, operating with a holistic approach to cultivate family values through integrity, respect, diligence, and courage.
Our mission is to provide a wholesome environment that fosters moral values and integrity through dance. Daneen and Jamie Brown are the Artistic Directors of Dance To Life, LLC. They began training at the impressionable age of two at Pro-Am Dance Studios in Fort Lauderdale, Florida under the tutelage of the Cassidy/Yell family. Collectively they have 33 years of trained experience. Daneen and Jamie have performed numerous events to include the Orange Bowl, DUTL Dance conferences, and Bethune-Cookman Concert Chorale directed by Dr. Rebecca Walker-Steel. They have coordinated Sweet Sixteen Cotillions. Both have dance extensively at New Birth Baptist Church in Miami, Florida, where they served as ministry directors for over 15years. Daneen and Jamie have choreographed various dances and produced productions that were entertaining, and thought provoking. They were afforded the opportunity to dance alongside such artist as Kirk Franklin, Vicky Winans and Men of Standard. Both are artistically well rounded, having traveled extensively with the Bethune-Cookman University Concert Chorale throughout the United State on scholarship, singing and dancing. They have also performed in various staged productions and have produced five dance recitals,” Dance to Life” in 2010, “Levels of Love” in 2012, "Cinema" in 2014, "Wild Nature" in 2015, and "Heroes & Villains" in 2016, "I Love Radio" in 2017, and ":Love & Politics" in 2018, and "Icons -n- Legends" in 2019, For the Culture" in 2021., and "The Boom Boom Room" in 2022. Currently, Daneen and Jamie are giving back to their community by choosing a career in education, serving as Broward County school teachers. They have collectively impacted students for over 40 years.
